Aeropress Paper Filter

Grinder

Gooseneck Kettle

Step 1: Rinse

Unscrew the cap and place a piece of paper filter over it. Rinse it with hot water and make sure there’s no air pockets.

Step 2: Grind

Grind your coffee on the medium setting of your grinder.

Step 3: Set-up

Screw the filter cap back to the brewing chamber of the Aeropress. Place the brewing chamber on your carafe or cup. Make sure they fit, and that the brewing chamber is stable on the carafe. Place this set-up on your weighing scale and hit tare. Dose the coffee into the brewing chamber and hit tare again.

Step 4: Brew

Hit the timer and pour 220g of hot water into the chamber. Stir the slurry 3 times and steep for 2 minute. Place the plunger gently on the brew chamber to prevent the water from draining through the filter.

Step 5: Plunge

When the timer hits 2 minute, remove the plunger and stir the slurry gently for 3 times. Place the plunger into the brew chamber and use your body weight to push the plunger through to filter the coffee out.

Step 6: Serve & Enjoy!
