The study of Brewing introduces you to the different ways of brewing coffee, from Chemex and siphon to clever dripper and French press. In addition, this module allows you to get hands-on and learn to analyse your grind profile, match your grind to your brewing method and to scientifically measure coffee strength and chart a coffee’s extraction.

The SCA Brewing Foundation introduces the beginner to the different ways of brewing coffee, from V60, and French Press and the Clever Dripper;

  • Brewing Guidelines
  • Brew Methods

All participants will receive a course certificate from Specialty Coffee Association upon completion of this workshop.

Suitable For: Coffee Professionals, Home Brewers, Baristas, Cafe Operators

Pre-requisuites: No prior knowledge is needed before taking this module, although it is recommended that you take the SCA Introduction to Coffee module. A passion for great coffee is essential!

As we would like to provide the most conducive environment for our participants, we require a minimum sign-up of 2 participants to confirm each session. In the event that a particular session does not meet the minimum sign-up, participants will be notified and we will reschedule their session to the next available date.
